You find a shelf full of what seem to be sheets of song lyrics in two different languages. Next to them is a box full of cds that contain all the songs.

This is a long-standing project of mine: translating various Finnish songs into English and hopefully giving some non-Finnish speakers the chance to experience music that I love.
I originally started translating song lyrics for my German second cousin who's learning Finnish, after I realized I had actually picked up quite a lot of Japanese from religiously listening to Vocaloid songs since age 12. I have since shared the folder with some international friends, but this is the first time I'm making it publicly available.
Most of the songs are simply my personal favorite songs, but some are included because they are popular or because I just thought the lyrics would be interesting to translate for whatever reason. I'll host it all on the site in the future - for now, have a link to the Google Drive folder as a placeholder, as well as a Spotify playlist with all the songs I've translated so far. I hope you enjoy and find something you like!
Disclaimer: I'm a hobbyist translator, not a professional; I'm doing this for fun and translation practice, and there might be mistakes in my work.
